Getting Scary Around Here

I was wondering if it was just me. It seems like there's been so much violence around the county lately. Looks like it might be true.

Fred, this kind of violence seems to go in spurts. From what I understand, as soon as the weather gets warmer, the crime rate starts to climb. I guess the criminals have nothing better to do with their time on a nice day than come out of hiding like bears on the hunt. They are out of hibernation and we civilized human being need to be alert.

Wishing you well and may the bears steer clear of you!

when the weather gets warmer, more people come out to drop off the bodies they have had in the chest freezers all winter.

Who would want to dispose of something in rainy, cold weather?

I would. Fewer witnesses and the rain washes away any nasty fluids dripping from the body.

Is it the DA's catch and release programs? Is it drugs? Or is Humboldt County just really not that nice of a place to live?

Who is Timothy Danielson?

Probably that California isn't a nice place to live, with the kind of people that come here.

It is the catch and release program - it's letting the meth dealers go. meth addicts with meth mouth waling around in all the neighborhoods, dealing out of their motorhomes

Yep, starting with the white folk in the mid 1800's.

Damn. Dumped mine too early. Rain washed the maggots off.

Yes it is the DA's catch and release programs. The meth dealers are plea bargained to prop 36 as users and released. That was the point that the Senior Probation officer made when he said that HDSO which probation is part of is supporting Dikeman. He said the loss of staff and the catch and release program was letting violent offenders off and back on the streets. Makes sense to me.

Wow! You've convinced me. I don't feel safe anymore. Guess I'd better vote for Dikeman!
