Governator Signs Global Warming Bill

From the Sacramento Bee (username humboldtlib, password blogspot): "We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late," Schwarzenegger said during an address before signing the bill.".

Thanks, Gov, for helping me make up my mind. I figured my vote was torn between you and the Libertarian. I'll be voting for Art Olivier, the Libertarian Party candidate for Governor, now.

If I told you why I decided to not vote for him, you might decide to vote for him after all.

Well, I'm not going to vote for him. Probably for some of the very reasons Fred almost voted for him.

Hey there's a clever blog-owner maneuver. Put up a really looooooooong post whenever you want to shove an unpleasant reality way down out of sight on your front page. Like the Arkley Reporter's latest embarassing foible in its permanent Gallegos witch-hunt.

That's right, 2:29. It's all part of The Conspiracy!

Conspiracy? What conspiracy? I don't see any conspiracies! The only conspiracy is that there are no conspiracies!!

Everything is exactly the way it seems! Everyone tells the truth and nobody has anything to hide!!!

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

The buhne tribune is rob arkley's blog.

The eureka reporter is not a newspaper, it's a GOP con to get the administration's "talking points" (ie: war is great and bush 'won' the election) out to the gullible public.

It's not an organisation based in Eureka, in fact.... it's charter is in Alaska... just like Security National bank.

Some "local" paper - eh? Some "local" bank - eh?

Security National.... NSA..... hmmmmmmm

Something smells really fishy. Check it out!

You state you are voting for this libertarian candidate. I checked his website. It was full of quotes like this gem...

"It's important for Americans to know that trafficking of drugs finances the world of terror, sustaining terrorists,"
-- George W. Bush

Is a libertarian just a more complicated way of saying republican?

What i see happening is that republicans infiltrate various groups... and are basically acting as moles... agents... disruptors (lieberman ... zell miller.... and so on)

So have the republicans infiltrated the libertarian party or has the libertarian party always been just a mere offshoot of the GOP?

I mean, come on.... WHO would quote BUSH about anything???

Even the republicans realize he is dead weight.

All kinds of people quote Bush, albeit for different reasons. I've seen lefties , more than once, remind us of Bush's "Mission Accomplished" gaffe.

I'll admit to being a bit surprised when I saw Olivier include that quote in Fight Against Drugs policy statement. Poor use of a quote, imo, as I think it's confusing.

I believe he's trying to say that illegal drug trafficking is used for financing terrorists, among other things. The extension supposing to be that by legalizing drugs, they can't use that as a source of funding.

Again; Poor communication on his part, as I see it.

thanks for your explanation of how YOU see that, Fred.

No thanks necessary, 8:51. I'm here to help!
