Sims Does Anon.R

Anyone see this week's North Coast Journal yet? Our very own Hank Sims rags on our very own Anon.R. in his Town Dandy column. And I thought we were all just like family here. To add insult to injury Hank didn't even include a link to Anon.R's blog to the online version of the Dandy.

Did anyone hear Tish Wilburns interview on KHUM? She is insane. No other way to put it-

It's available on their website...

Hank made some good points about manufacturing. What has Chesbro to do with anything?

At 3:13 PM, Blogger Hank Sims said...

Short answer -- zoning.

Hey Hank, don't you think it's a little heavy-handed of you to use the Northcoast Journal readership to trounce AnonR. Not exactly a fair response to blogger pests. Makes you look like a bully.

That's how I roll, Steve.

Kidding! Didn't you notice that it was just as much an appreciation of Anon.R?

At 4:39 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

He is. Just look what he did to Greg Allen. All bashing, no response, not even an attempt to get his side of the story.

At 4:42 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I saw it as affectionate repartee. I'm waiting for Anon.r.mous' response

Nick Bravo, crawl back in your hole you retarded freak.

Fred, how did you post your mug shot on your blog? I tried but keep getting error messages. I don't know how to get an image url I guess. Any suggestions?

At 10:12 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Take the error message to heart. It means more than you might think.

To add your photo to your Blogspot profile, open a free account with Photobucket at www.photobucket.com.

Upload your photo to photobucket. After it's uploaded, go to your photo album and find your pic. There should be a url directly underneath your photo.

Copy and paste that url in the appropriate space on your blogspot profile page. Save changes. Done.

Don't everyone head to photobucket at once now.

Tried it, Fred, joined Photobucket and uploaded my pic there, got the url and pasted it. And got the same error message.

I wonder if blogspot's spazzing out. Anyone else here given it a try?

I finally got my pic in "about me" but when I tried to edit "about me" and repost it, it didn't change. Can you edit "about me" once you post it?

At 3:50 AM, Blogger Nick Bravo said...

Steve, somehow I pictured you as much less hip looking. By the way, how's your communitarian stuff going?

At 6:19 AM, Blogger Fred Mangels said...

You should be able to edit your profile. You have a different page set up than mine but I'm sure somewhere in you blog account management page there's somewhere to include a profile and edit it.

On mine, I just log in to blogspot, then click on the "view my profile" link in the upper right corner of the page. If I'm logged in, my profile has an "Edit Me", or some such, link. Click on that and I make any changes and save them.

Oh, I just noticed you started a new blog. I was thinking you made changes to the old one and couldn't figure out why it still looked the same.

You might want to put a notice on your old Humboldt Blogger blog that you've moved. And don't forget to take the old one down after a while. No use clogging up cyberspace with a dead blog.

Or keep it. Amy Stewart has three blogs going
Humboldt Hens
Dirt
Worms of Endearment
Though she says she just rolled them all into one and moved to a new blog.

Bob Doran has five.

The Blogspot about me profile did up-date finally. Why it was delayed I don't understand.

I am going to shut down my Humboldt Blogger site this week. I will post a notice there.

Hi Nick.

My communitarian stuff is wrapped up in the Heartlands Project. I am in the process of redoing my website. The Communitarian forum didn't work out as there doesn't seem to be enough interest in alternative community building here to justify a discussion group. Which is sorta strange considering all the talk around here about alternative community building.

I've reconnected with my friend, the Abuna(Arabic for Father) of the Church of St. Mary in Nazareth and he wants me to come back for another Easter procession in 2007. So I will be preparing for that which, hopefully, will complete the final chapter of my gnostic theology book so I can publish it and save the world.

Waiting now for Joe Red Cloud, Alex White Plume's assistant, Alex being the President of the Oglala Souix Nation, to report back on their response to our Heartlands Project which they would like to use to raise funds for buying a buffer zone around their sacred Bear Butte and for preserving more Black Hills land from commercial development.

Bear River might come back into the Heartlands picture if Leonard Bowman is recalled as Tribal Chairperson. It depends who gets into office but Sparky and I hope Wayne Moon and Barbara Orr get back into that tribal government. They cleaned house before when there was corruption and since the casino went up and them out of office, things have deteriorated to the point of Bowman's needing to be recalled and the Casino Commissioner, John McGinnis either fired or demoted.

McGinnis, under Bowman's authority, is the one who is either building or buying a $900,000 home while Sparky and Wayne remain without tribal homes and no income. This is the case for the majority of Bear River tribal members who are finally beginning to wonder where all the casino profit money is going. McGinnis has been most active in trying to stop Bear River involvement with our Heartlands Project which only shows how selfish these short-sighted casino-profit oriented tribal leaders are and why the tribe needs leaders who care about the whole tribe and not just ruling families.

One more plug for my new blog site as I abuse Fred's generosity, I got "proof" of Martians on Mars! Take a look at:http://steve-lewis.blogspot.com

At 6:01 PM, Blogger Steve Lewis said...

My, my, my. Proof of Martian civilization on my blog site and only Nick Bravo is brave enought to turn away from these endless political debates.

Some people have their heads up their behinds about the really important issues, like Martian civilization ruins for real, maybe.

At 6:52 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

That's only cuz Bravo is a martian. He's here to take Grove's back with him to Mars because as you know...Mars Needs Women.

At 10:17 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Groves is a woman? A bigfoot with dwarfism sure, but a woman?...yer just being silly.
