Kramer Is A Libertarian?

I don't know about Michael Richards, the guy who played Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld- recently in the news for losing his cool during a live show- but Kenny Kramer, the guy who the character was based on, might be.

I'd actually read the Associated Press article in the Times- Standard this morning, but didn't pay much attention to the picture. Rex Bohn saw me as he was driving by my house this morning and asked if I'd noticed the Libertarian Party sign in the picture accompanying the article. I hadn't.

Taking another look, sure enough, Kramer has the same sign on the front of his podium that I place in my window each election: Enough is Enough- Vote Libertarian.

The Times- Standard doesn't seem to publish Associated Press items on their web site, but Associated Press does. Here's the link to the story.

Thanks for the heads up, Rex.

The T-S stopped putting AP articles on the website a couple months ago.

Yes Fred, well done. Good job turning Kenny into a Libertarian. How did you do it?

I didn't. Assuming he is a libertarian- and I seem to remember something about him doing something with the New York LP- for many people, being a libertarian is just their nature.

Joe Libertarian wrote, "He looks like a libertarian to me!".

Not sure if you're being sarcastic with that, or not, Joe.

Just got the heads up on this list of libertarians, past and present. Not sure what criteria the list compiler uses to identify them as such.

Interesting that the first name in the Comedian section is Jason Alexander, who played George on Seinfeld.

Fred, What gives? I found lots of Repubs listed but no Donks.

I hadn't noticed that. I'll have to say most would think the Democrats would be much less likely to have libertarians in their ranks as the vast majority of Democrats seem to want more government, not less.

That said, there is a Democratic Freedom Caucus http://www.democraticfreedomcaucus.org/, which is supposed to be the equivalent of the Republican Liberty Caucus. Both supposedly are trying to get their particular party to take on more libertarian positions.

This is a good thing. If the Reps and Dems would take liberty into consideration more often, it wouldn't matter that few, if any, libertarians get elected.

Libertarians want people to take care of themselves. What kind of perverse ideaology is that?
Fred, come clean. Are you and other older libertarians ex-nazis?

The Fourth Reich will first come after the homeless. The homeless are Americas Jews. What next? a patch of some sort to identify us? An orange marijuana leaf perhaps?
