Buhne Warehouse: The End?
I think I appreciate history and historical structures as much or more than most, but I really think Eureka's been beating itself over the head trying to save the old Buhne Warehouse. Looks like they've finally decided it will cost too much.
Everything must come to an end at some point in time. I think it's past time for the Buhne Warehouse. It would be fun to take it apart and use some of the materials for other new buildings or renovation projects. Don't you think it would be cool to be able to point to a room in your house and say it was part of some historic place in Eureka?
But seriously, why all the brouhaha over an old warehouse? I could see it if it was an old house or business but a warehouse? Time to move on.

I heard our local billionaire was going to buy it as cheap storage for future skeletons. It seems his latest facility is filling up fast and this being just down the street would be convenient as hell.
Oh geez. Is there no end to this?
Only HE can put an end to the skeleton piles.
Is it true the piles consist not only of former employees and competitors, but also of former friends and even family members?
Check in with Ray Hillman to get more on the wharehouse story Fred. Its pretty significant, but you're rightits just a wharehouse and its sitting on a site that will be Seaport Village when that thing is gone.

It IS just another ugly old warehouse.
The problem is all these people, without anything else to do, going around & telling us any building over 50 years old is a "historic" building.
These people need to get another hobby & stop telling us what we can do with our own property !
