A Kucinich/ Paul Ticket?

I didn't suggest it. Kucinich did. Quite frankly, I think Kucinich has less of a chance of winning the Democrat nomination than Ron Paul has of winning the Republican one. Still, interesting idea.

Hat tip to Austin Cassidy's Third Party Watch blog for the heads up.

Stephen-

If we could only be so lucky-

Dennis and Ron make more sense and speak more truth than the rest of 'em put together, yet most people think
they can only vote for who they are told too. Sad.

The media will lead the sheep astray once again I fear-

Kucinich and Paul appear to be the only honestly candid candidates whether or not you agree with them. Other than the "war" however, they are 180 degrees apart. Dennis is just to the left of Henry Wallace and Ron is just this side of an anarchist. Neither one of them have a snowball's chance in hell IMO. I would bet on a sleeze vs sleeze ticket next year.

hey fred, guess what?
theplazoid.blogspot.com is back! ...and we have a sad victory of sorts to report:

in a post from January 15, 2006, the fraudulent "Mental Health Services Act Community Support and Services Plan" is exposed as being mathematically impossible and fraudulent in its assertion that 80% of homeless people have "mental health issues." (http://theplazoid.blogspot.com/2006/01/another-look-at-mental-health-services.html)

Well, in a Eureka Reporter article form 8/20/2007 "Bureau probes fraud claims" (http://www.eurekareporter.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?ArticleID=27435) it says:

""Utecht said a diagnosis of substance abuse alone would not permit reimbursement for the time clients spent in the county’s psychiatric inpatient facility, Sempervirens.

He claims “hundreds of thousands of dollars billed this way” over a period of four years, dating back to when he was a temporary “rent-a-doc” with the county.

“If it’s a polysubstance diagnosis, the county doesn’t get paid for SV,” Utecht said in an interview. “They need psychiatrists to change it to ‘psychiatric’ to get paid.” "

So, it is a "victory" in that tad's article accurately saw through the bullshit and called out a fraud before the whistle-blower came out.

Of course, there hasn't been much publicity or CHANGE, so, i guess it's not so much a "victory" as it is an "i told you so."

Please comment on what you think of this. If nothing else, it should at LEAST be apparant that it is a blatant abuse of tax-payers' money, not to mention setting the stage for large-scale human rights abuses.

thank you

Kucinich/Paul ticket?

Well, they kinda look alike. Maybe they could dress up like twins. (JUST KIDDING, FRED:)

But, see, saying they 'dont have a chance' or parroting that kind of crap is exactly WHY we wind up with the same old s**t!

WHY NOT VOTE FOR THEM?

Ron raised what? 4 MILLION bucks in one day? No ones EVER done that.

Maybe We The People can take back our elections, by telling CBS, NBC, and the rest, that we will make up our own minds, thanks.

11:57 AM, You seem to be cognitively challenged so let me help you out. 3:27 PM states that because pogo observes that a dennis-ron ticket is about as likely as Fred winning the lottery, you should not be discouraged for voting for them. You cannot vote for them for the simple reason that no party qualifying for the ballot in California will present them as candidates in the general election. Anyone wishing to write their names on a ballot is free to do so. As for the likelihood of such a ticket garnering more than .0001% of the vote please refer to the "snowball in hell" statement.

Well, gosh. Thanks for that rude response Pogo. So nice to know that
we'll all keep swallowing the status quo, and let other people decide everything for us.

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are both going to do much better than expected in their respective party primaries next year. And the so-called frontrunners are going to do much worse than expected. You didn't actually think those Beltway boneheads knew what they were talking about, did you?
