Remarkable Woman and Song

This is really remarkable. I first heard about this just a few minutes ago on National Public Radio. I'm guessing this is England's version of American Idol. Note the folks in the audience that seem displeased with her, at first. Then note the accolades.

Hope the link works. I tried to embed it but apparently embedding was "disallowed by request".

I saw this on the news. She stood for a moment. My heart hurt for her and then she opened her mouth and made mine drop open. God, she could sing!

It wouldn't surprise me. She's surprised nearly everybody, so far.

I'm guessing this is England's version of American Idol.Slightly backwards- 'American Idol' is the crap merkin version of Britain's crap 'Pop Idol', an international franchise created by the guy who brought us the Spice Girls, Il Divo and "A Teletubbies Christmas".

'Britain's Got Talent' is a spinoff of 'America's Got Talent', a show that is apparently still on NBC.

The Hoff is involved, so it must be good.

Sigh, and people think Japanese tv is silly.

all that is gold does not glitter. she announced she was as old as 47 and was nearly shoved off the stage. what a lesson to us all: wait and listen before we judge.
