Saunders on the No- Drillers

The San Francisco Chronicle's Debra Saunders takes a look at the no- drill types that flooded recent offshore drilling hearings held by the Department of the Interior. I agree with with her 100%.

Solar? Wind? Nowhere to use that.

How about that big solar- in- the- desert project that's been floating around for a few years? Doubtful. Dianne Feinstein says no.

Interesting letter in today's Santa Rosa Press- Democrat:

There’s no oil hereEDITOR: The April 13 headline “New chapter in offshore oil debate on North Coast” makes the same mistake that plays through every newspaper, radio and TV story and almost every political speech on the subject. A Santa Barbara Channel oil blowout that did put a lot of oil on the beach was due to a terrible well program that should have never been approved by either Union Oil or the state. That problem, however, will not occur off the North Coast. There is no oil off the North Coast, only the possibility of serious amounts of natural gas.RUSSELL GREEN
