If you haven't yet read them yet, The Triplicate has published some reader's stories of their experiences in Crescent City's 1964 tsunami. Some are bit humdrum, or so I thought. This one is pretty good. My favorite is this one that the Triplicate linked to.

Wow! I read your favorite tsunami story, Fred. What a tale of horror. I would have been mad at the landlord, too, if he had warned me. Good thing everyone survived in that story.

I think that's what I like about that one. Unlike some of the stories from Triplicate readers, that one really brought out what a hairy situation it was- more emotion in it than the other stories.
