Unedited Clive Bundy

A blogger takes a look at some of the supposedly racist comments Nevada rancher Clive Bundy made. I had a feeling he said something more along that line. I'm sure many will consider the comments racist, anyway, since they're not politically correct.

I know he is less than articulate and doesn't have a large vocabulary by his own admission but what he was TRYING to say is that welfare is just another form of slavery but this time the gov't is the "Massa"

Agreed, and don't have a problem with him saying that.

How is forced labor and free food or welfare anywhere near the same thing? Or are you just being politically correct?

Just think about it...Giving someone free food or housing is the SAME as forcing someone to work for free? That makes no sense.

Slavery and welfare are the exact opposite things. Getting paid for no work vs being forced to work for no pay. Stop being so politally correct. Not everyone looks at topics as shallowly as Fred.

Clive Bundy asked a fairly straightforward question:

Was "the negro" better off as slaves or free people?

I don't see where political correctness enters into this. The notion ANY people are better off as slaves is abhorrent.

Lotta white folk on welfare. Should they be slaves instead too?

Sorry Fred, the unedited version only makes his comments worse.

Uhhh, seeing the unedited, longer racist comments isn't better than sound bite racist comments.

In my experience, political correctness is invoked in defense of racist and other bigoted comments, as if invoking PC makes being a horrible human being OK.

Political correctness enters into everything. When I'm with my hippie friends or family, agreeing with them is sometimes easier than getting into a heated discussion. When I'm with my repressed conservative friends or family, same thing goes. Clive, Fred and millions others are cowering to the powers that want you to think that black people, Mexican people and all minorities are less than human and wouldn't even notice if they were still slaves. In fact, they would be BETTER off if they were slaves. And even if they aren't slaves, let's pretend that they all have "masters". Sick stuff to want to be politically correct about

Some of the stupidest comments I've received on this blog, other than the first one. I'm not surprised though.

Sorry Fred; you didn't think this through.

I generally listen to what you have to say. I don't always agree but you have a view point worth looking at... usually.

Somehow you managed to equate freedom from being a slave to PC speech with advocacy for slavery. And we're stupid?

Apparently the black community is not as outraged as the PC community.

Is getting something for nothing NOT a form of slavery? What happens when the EBT card quits working?

"What happens when the EBT card quits working?" .... are you have to PAY for your rights to graze, instead of being a free loader...

The reason Bundy quit paying fees is because the BLM kept lowering his limits on cattle allowed to graze. As he succinctly says "They are managing me out of business". Get it? They have "managed" 52 other Nevada ranchers out of business and he is the last rancher left. Nevada is 84 1/2% "owned" by the Feds. This is about State's Rights more than cattle fees. Harry Reid is lining his pockets on the same land through sweetheart deals with the Chinese. Do some research and look behind the curtain.

Then Bundy needs to graze HIS cattle on his OWN land....no more welfare.......

Nevada is/was an Open Range state. Read this and see what you think.

As previously stated this a bigger issue than cows. Why did the BLM show up with military gear and weapons trained on Americans? Shouldn't they have tried to resolve this peacefully? Perhaps by throwing Bundy in jail until he takes his cattle off the range or placing a lien on his ranch? Jack Booted THUGS.

The truth is we are all a slave to something and there is truth behind Bundy's statements. There are those who receive welfare that temporarily need a helping hand, and then there are those on welfare who become complacent, feel entitled, and do nothing to better themselves or their families making them wholly dependent on the state.
