Times- Standard Web Site Has Improved

I don't know what they did, but I'll give the Times- Standard kudos for cleaning up their web site so it's a bit more usable. Used to be the pages would freeze up on me most of the time. It had something to do with Flash player. Now I can actually go there without having to worry much about the screen freezing up. Well done.

I want to mention that most pages that use Flash and Java Scripts either load slow or freeze. I use Firefox which you can use the add-on No Script which will block all the unnecessary garbage and mostly give you text. Isn't text what you are there for in the first place? BTW you can allow Scripts to load either temporarily or permanently as you see fit.

By golly, you've just solved my problem. I knew Shockwave Flashplayer was a big part of the problem. I didn't know you could set the browser to ask before activating it. I found the option in my Add On preferences for Firefox and it seems to have helped a lot. Thanx.
