A Fence On The Border

For those skeptical of Donald Trump's plan for a fence along the entire U.S/ Mexico border, setting aside the logistics involved in such an effort, the San Diego Union- Tribune gives us a look at how things are where we already have fences. One resident on the border notes the changes before and after:

Before the wall was built, the flow was easier. People just went back and forth.” Afterward, people picked a side and stayed there, since it was harder to cross.

So, it seems the fence might actually encourage illegals to stay in the country longer? Who'da thunk?

As for me, I might have wrote before I'm not an "open borders" libertarian if for no other reason than once "they" get here they eventually vote. When they do, they don't vote in favor of liberty.

I was listening to NPR yesterday. They had a segment on Mexicans that joined the military yet still got deported for one reason or another. A former marine- he was deported but is a U.S. citizen now- being interviewed said he planned on voting this year. For whom? Bernie Sanders. I rest my case. It is not in the interests of liberty to have open borders.

Another thought on the fence keeping folks "in" rather than preventing them from leaving is, as the US becomes more oppressive by the hour, the day will come when it will be advantageous to expatriate south.

I don't EVER want to be presented with an obstacle to exit, in ANY form, ANYWHERE, by ANYONE.

Today I learned there is no room for democracy among libertarian ideals.

If you speak Spanish, for many professions there are amazing opportunities throughout South America. Teachers are probably the #1 example, with good pay, good benefits, students who want to learn, and a public and politicians that treat you with respect instead of contempt. Contrary to the narrow view we get in the American mass media, most of the continent is safe and modern (or at least not remotely close to how Americans think of third world counties). Ya know, Americans travel south for inexpensive surgical procedures and while they're there, drive on roads not filled with pot holes and across bridges with crumbling infrastructure. It's convinced me that 'first world' and 'third world' have more in common than they realize, and more represent a state of mind than anything else.

So, you have a problem with a US citizen and ex-serviceman who chooses to exercise his right to vote, or because he will vote for Bernie? Or both?

And,the kicker; "open borders are not in the interests of liberty".

Well, then, Trump's your guy.

BTW, did you know that much of our border is lined with water. That Gulf of Mexico for one. Where will the fence go? Above or below the high tide mark? Certainly no an ugly obstruction to shore property condo owners, I hope.

Then there's the tunnels.

And, don't forget that non-existent global warming which is not making already hot climates even hotter causing crop failures and, you guessed it, more refugees/rapists/illegals/voters.

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall, because we need it here in Amerika."

Good, then open your front door so those who enter can take advantages of your home base, steal, thieve, fill your house up more, etc... This way, everyone understands it is a free for all.

Go ahead, move, leave , travel now, for only the northern hemisphere and Australia + remote parts of higher elevation countries globally will survive the apocalypse that is on the horizon.

What did you learn? Or, did public education stop short of teaching students to explain?

And a female Mexican self made media mogul said America should be open to mexican immigrants because they can take advantage.....her exact words while interviewed.

Opportunity versus taking advantage,

No wonder times standard pulled a progressive maneuver by pulling the video of TWO mexican foreign nationals busted for illegal marijuana operation on federal lands.

Mexicans can also have its proportionate mother fuckers in politics, media too, deceptively and manipulatively making attempts to make as many people feel sorry for their asses because of the illusory politics between the U.S. and Mexico.

Liberty does not exist outside the US, so a wall has no effect on changing that scenario of seeking liberty elsewhere outside the US. Maybe Canada, UK, Northern Europe and Australia get as close to USA and its version of Liberty, but doubt it.

It is about destroying the US from within like an alien bug that gets implanted inside the host in order to complete a hostile takeover and recolonization.

Build the wall wide enough that a road system is incorporated as an elevated causeway for military equipment to maneuver and defend so another Alamo is met with blood red death on mexican soil.

Truer words were never written, H.O.J. And unlike mine, they were worth repeating. Maybe that will assist them with their comprehension, ha,ha.

Poster at 8:41 already expressed my opinion. Don't fence me in! We are no longer a free society. Surveillance, watch lists, drones, false arrests, no due process, and now the kicker, a wall. No thank you. Vote Castle. Take our nation back so we can take our individual states back.
