Waiting For Convention Results

I was hoping to wake up this morning to find the Libertarian Party had chosen their presidential candidate- their presidential nominating convention being held this weekend. Nope. They're apparently still going back and forth over it. Figures.

I was actually paying some attention yesterday to the goings on there via the live feed. Next best thing to being there? It actually struck me as fairly boring. I watched at least parts of some of the candidate speeches and agree with some other publications that Gary Johnson's speech was a bit less than inspiring. Not a lot of emotion in it and he almost seemed unsure of himself.

I'll give that Austin Petersen fellow credit for best public speaker of the bunch. I was impressed. If I were in his position I would have just stood there with my mouth open.

So I'm waiting word as to who wins the nomination while arguing with some over at the Liberarian Party- National Facebook page over Gary Johnson's qualifications for the LP nomination. One old time LPer I haven't seen in years writes Johnson isn't familiar enough with libertarian principles and such to be the nominee. I replied that's probably a good thing as if he goes around spouting libertarian dogma, most who hear him will just shake their heads, roll their eyes up into their head and walk off thinking he's a nutcase. At least one response to that, so far, saying my that's irrelevant. Whatever.

Anyway, just waiting to see who wins. I"m not sure it really matters to me except I have some Gary Johnson campaign stuff and would hate to see it go to waste. That, and I think we'd get more bang for the buck with Johnson, a successful two term governor.

Addendum: I've been informed Johnson won the nomination.

Johson has never been a loud talker, and had always come across as low key probably duw to the notion that he avoids the political melodramas that the likes of Hillary and Donald feed us all the time.

No doubt, unsureness is probably more of listening to the exact question, thinking about it before the response to the degree that suggests the question was generic with a twist of conjury.

Johnson is the only Governor, Two times, who showed positive results from his performance.

Hillary - no results that are positive

Trump - no experience in government, but does understand economics to such the extent that Hillary looks like a pre schooler.

For the California primary, HOJ will vote for Bernie.

Why?

So Bernie goes to convention with results from all states. This will:

1) Be used to collect voter data
2) Be used to prove riggings of super delegates
3) Be used to show super delegates decidebefore the popular vote even occurs
4) Be used to show that closed primaries gave the election to Hillary.
5) Be used to create a stronger following in Americas now confirmed social Civil War that began circa Obamacare.
6) Be used to "change election processes" again cuz insiders see they are being incriminated as conspirators to election/voter fraud.

Funny how Diane Feinstein (a liar too that can't be trusted as she is a bullshitting, exaggerating propagandist) said Bernie "surely can read the same lamp post as the rest of the democrats that Hillary is the nominee."

Diane Feinstein is cunning, shrewd and nefarious. She knows what HOJ just explained as the reasoning why Sanders is going to the convention.

HOJ hopes for a democratic party implosion too, starting with someone less trustworthy than Feinstein...... Debbie Downer cleans by Wassermann soapy schultz, aka Debbie Wasserman-Schultz whose bullshitting runs so deep, that Santa Clause cant find the chimney pipe.

I actually tried to watch but only lasted five minutes. Libertarians are simple minded folks looking for simpleminded solutions to complex problems. They end up just being Conservative Lite.
Have a nice Memorial Day.

complex problems caused by complex people, huh?

I suspect a lot of it is just talking to a crowd as you might speak to an individual. maybe there's something to be said for that?

Johnson does not come across as a bullshitting liar, that is for sure. He seems to be a down to earth guy to speak with.

Trump, Hillary both come across as bullshitting liars .

The Dems now have a viable candidate to vote for.
Calif surprised me, by voting across the board and in great numbers, despite the CA party pushing heavily for GJ. Even Vermin received a vote.
Alicia Dearn (VP candidate) pulled a dirty, but later explained. I will never vote for her for any position she campaigns for.
I can't believe Gary tossed the gift from Austin into the trash. (a replica of Washington's cap gun). Luckily, it was salvaged and given back to him.
Austin was uptight, nervous, didn't perform well, couldn't relax enough to let his sincerity shine through. This is his first ever campaign trail, he has time under his belt to practice controlling the butterflies by the next campaign.
Both Gary & Weld are liberals, not Libertarian's. There were a lot of angry emotions playing out. Perry went so far as to say out loud what everyone else was whispering. This is the death of the libertarian party.
But, not to worry. Already new groups are forming, to take our liberty back.
