Eureka's Schooner Bar Closes
The Lost Coast Outpost reports on long time fixture on rhe waterfront- The Schooner- is being sold. A shame as far as I'm concerned. We need more sleezy bars in Eureka, not less.
Only been in there a handful of times, mostly while delivering pizzas for Sabrina's, another long gone Eureka establshment.

That did not sound like a place I would ever want to patronize! The old name was better than the name of the new bar though, in my opinion.
Maybe I'm thinking of the old Vista Del Mar that had a similar reputation? It was down on the waterfront, too.

Schooner has been closed since Whitey passed away a few years back
