Kym Kemp: Queen of Humboldt Bloggers

Queen of Humboldt bloggers, Kym Kemp, has a great read over at her place regarding Sex Trafficking and Abuse in the Marijuana Industry. Kind of an insider look at the seasonal workers in the marijuana industry and the Southern Humboldt culture. I've always wondered what Petrolia looked like and she provided a picture. A great read, but took a while to finish. Hat tip to Eric Kirk for the link.

She should probably get some literary award for investigative journalism for this recent piece.

I didn't write it, Fred. I just hosted it. But it is very good.

No doubt about Kym. However, the piece you are referring to was written by Shoshana Walters.

Kym didn't write that investigative piece Sex Trafficking and Abuse in the Marijuana Industry. It was written by Shoshana Walter.
Only one thing surprises me- That some spokesperson from the "industry" hasn't corrected the gross mischaracterization and ethnic slur by not titling the piece as the "Cannabis" industry.
Most likely because it's not the marketing image they are looking for?

kym is the best
hate her pot carp but i am allergic to the garbage
she had more links and news about the fires here in lake county than any i could find local and has better reports around the nor cal area , for my interest , than anyone else . i have used many many links she has posted about things like fire or road conditions and accidents and use those links daily.
i enjoy her site even though she has blocked some of my comments
when it comes to nor cal news and now events , i go to her first

I guess you'll have to start a new news web site for Lake County. Call it the Lost Lake Outpost, or some such.
