Don't Waste Your Vote

Joe Dehn, Chair of the Santa Clara County LP, makes a good case for not wasting your vote on the Clumps. Gary Johnsoncentric, but still a good case:

"Trump and Clinton are horrible choices for President. ....your vote here in California can't possibly make a difference in which one of them ends up in the White House. The Democrat always wins the popular vote in California, and will get all of California's electoral votes as a result -- unless the election is a landslide in the other direction nationally, in which case the election will be decided before the polls even close here."

That's a stupid invitation to ignore all the other candidates for other offices and the ballot measures, get out and vote, you need to do it.

We all need you all to vote.
...smh

Pretty amazing that Johnson couldn't name a single world leader when put on the spot

A reminder the question was a world leader he could admire. I still can't come up with one I admire.

Knowing the election is rigged, I'm not only voting my conscies, I'm voting in hopes of seeing yet another party automatically included in next election cycle. Darrell Castle and his VP Scott Bradley should be registered as write-in by election time. If not, I'll probably just vote Trump like a good little anti-progressive choosing the least progressive.
May the super delegates sign up in time for Castle!

He is absolutely right California doesn't matter. Had we been voting earlier in the primary we would likely not have the candidates we have now. By the time our vote gets counted in November it probably over.
As a lifelong Dem I can't help but wonder what has happened to our party. I don't even recognize it any more.
This is the perfect time to vote third party. Johnson may not be ideal nor is Stein but at least they are honest and intelligent if not spit polished by the political machine.

I dunno... I didn't see a significant difference between Bush and Gore. As much as I hate Clinton for being everything we hate a politician for being, she's not anywhere close to being Trump. I do fear for our nation, and the world, if Trump is elected. Watch the film Idiocracy. It was made in 2006, and isn't about Trump, but in hindsight, it fits him perfectly for the type of country he would create.
