Huff. Post: Hillary Is The War Machine Candidate

It's with great pleasure to see a strongly left wing paper, the Huffington Post, tell it like it is, declaring Hillary Clinton the War Machine candidate. There were some examples I hadn't been aware, or wasn't too sure of. One thing I didn't know at all was that hubby, Bill Clinton, set us up for the eventual attack on Iraq:

" On October 31, 1998 President Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act that made it official US policy to support “regime change” in Iraq."

Maybe I'd have known that if I had a computer back then? Kinda frightening to think of all the things that slipped by us when we only had TV news to go by. I know I pretty much believed everything I saw on CNN back then.

So France supporting the Colonies in their fight for regime change was a bad thing?

And the US should not support people who want to overthrow a dictator and govern themselves?

The US should have backed Saddam, Gadhafi, and Assam?

How about that guy with a funny mustache who tried to conquer Europe. The US should have been supporting him and not the people he conquered?

I've heard similar arguments from libertarians back when we prepped to invade Iraq. I could only reply that I'm not one who feels it's right to tell others they're not free and need to be liberated.

If we were to back anyone, it likely should have been Syria's Assad as we have a common enemy in Al Queda and ISIS. I'm not saying we should have been actively involved, but we could have just left him alone and let him fight his own battle.

You and Trump have that in common, that Assad was (only)fighting AlQ and ISIS, the implication being that we should help him, or stand aside while Russia does (and increase it's military influence in the Med.).

...really Fred, c'mon, Assad was fighting rebels when these other groups piled on, thriving in the chaos. The Syrian/Kurdish people are fighting to free their area of Syria as well, which is why Turkey has attacked areas of Syria.

Assad has poison gassed and dropped barrels bombs (napalm) on civilians in Syria...he is a monster and has abused and murdered his own people.
Among even the US rw, many have correctly identified Assad as a dictator on the (PNAC) list of countries to democratize..which in their (US rw/PNAC)case, means to make into client states...other than that..

I forgive you but how can we even begin to consider Trump for anything when he is so ignorant...and favors Russia as he does.
And what about the rw crowd jabbering about Obama being weak with Russia etcetc, while Russia favoring Trump is the Republican Party's Presidential candidate!?
Barry Goldwater may not forgive you.
